About

Hello!

I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Master's in Museum Studies. This blog serves as both an extension of my academic work and a space to explore my own personal interests. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and Art (with a focus in Photography) from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I developed a strong foundation in both creative and journalistic writing. My work was published in The Blue Banner, the university newspaper, and Headwaters, its creative arts journal. While studying photography, my work was featured at the Midwest Center for Photography and

The Chateau Gallery. During my undergraduate studies, I also completed a multimedia storytelling internship with the Asheville Art Museum, an experience that guided me toward museum studies. My professional and academic interests are largely informed by art history, particularly the art of medieval, late medieval, and Renaissance periods.

An obsessive reader, I often draw inspiration from literature, which informs the subjects I highlight here. My goal for this space is to pursue these interests and translate them into exhibition-style blog posts to share with others and provide avenues for education and further study or reflection for those interested.
